Our Underwater world

Posted on Jan 11, 2014

Hi Everyone: Though this is just the beginning of our documentary, I wanted to share it with you. Documenting the aquatic plants of our lake in a visual format has been a dream of mine for several years and with the recent publication of our bulletin Christina Lake “Our Underwater World”, it has pushed the dream into a reality. Thank you to my assistant Heather Ling who helped with this initial compilation – your passion for the environment and determination to get things right are an inspiration and I know you will continue the legacy of stewarding our watershed -an upcoming champion for the protection and conservation of British Columbia’s natural environments. We will be continuing with this project as we have 41 more plants to video and photograph. If you would like to become involved, please contact us at the email listed below or give us a call at 250-447-2504. A guide to help identify the aquatic plants for the documentary is available for those underwater shutterbugs that would like to contribute their photographs or video footage. Photo credit will be given to submissions that are used. Join us in our underwater adventure!
