Hello: It has been an easy winter so far at the lake with, after a few days of rain, relatively little snow remaining on the ground. It would appear that the lake is not going to freeze this year. However, there is lots of snow at higher elevations, which may make for a high water level year come the end of May and early June. Holiday greetings to you all I have forwarded Brenda’s note on the Watershed Management meeting held Dec 8th. This note includes the link to the video recording of the meeting. I have also appended the Powerpoint -presentations made during the meeting. Bob and Annie – you were there for the meeting as well. My take is that the lake water quality remains excellent with no change pretty much since the extensive monitoring programs commenced. Generally there were no surprises. Greetings from Christina Lake This is a short update from the lake. Snow has arrived, briefly, and melted – but will be back and certainly has impacted the mountain passes surrounding the lake – at least to the east and west! The annual lake quality meeting report is scheduled for December 8th. I have appended Brenda LaCroix’s colourful poster advertising the meeting, at the bottom of this note.
